The closing and coronation of the winners were attended by His Excellency Issa Hilal Al-Hazami, Chairman of the Council, Mohammed Obaid Al-Hussan, Director of the Department of Sports and Development Affairs, Ibrahim Saif bin Ghafan, Director of the Tournament, and Jassim Al-Doukhi, Deputy Director of the Tournament.
In terms of individual awards, Khaled Eid, Sharjah coach, won the best coach award, and Khalifa Fouad Al Kaabi, goalkeeper of the Kalba Union, won the best goalkeeper award, while Issa Ahmed, the Kalba Union player, won the scorer award, and Hamdan Ali, the Kalba Union player, won the best player award, while Khorfakkan team won the ideal team award.
His Excellency Issa Hilal praised the success of the first edition of the championship, and congratulated the Kalba Union team on winning the title, and indicated that the council always seeks to develop young people and raise their competencies in order to qualify them to become among the list of sports leaders in the future.
Al-Hazami added: “The Council launched this tournament to achieve technical benefit for all its parties, including players, coaches and administrative cadres, in addition to developing the spirit of competition, determination and determination to win.” He thanked the Department of Sports and Development Affairs and the work team for the distinguished organization of the tournament.
In turn, Mohammed Obaid Al-Hussan expressed his happiness with the success of the tournament and the achievement of the desired benefit from it, and praised the enthusiasm of the clubs, teams and players, stressing that this enthusiasm is the secret of the great success, and that this version presented excellent individual talents that herald a brilliant future.
